We encourage students to have a real say in their school and take up positions of responsibility (for example form captain, peer mentor, council representatives). There are many opportunities for students to succeed in a wide variety of curricular and extra curricular activities. We enjoy a particularly high take up at PE clubs and the school has a long tradition of offering residential trips and participation in inter-school competitions.

As a Specialist Science School our students benefit from a wide range of superb facilities and activities within Science and Maths and as well as the full range of subjects. We have high expectations of every member of our community, staff and students alike.
